To book a room in a Clark Kerr campus dorm suite, please go to the reservation site located at www.ces.ucdavis.edu/sharkfest19. Please choose one of the 4 dorm single or double occupancy room packages based on your preferred check-in/check-out dates after entering the reservation site. You can also opt to extend your stay by one day and check out on 6/14/19 by checking the box at the bottom of the Dorm Package section.
On the second page of the reservation form, you’re asked to answer two questions before proceeding to the payment transaction page. If you have no preferred suitemate with whom you’d like to share a dorm suite, please enter “no preference” for the second question response, noting that another attendee who has opted for the same lodging package may be sharing the suite with you.
VIDEO DISCLAIMER: SharkFest attendees staying in dorms will have a private sleeping room (locked door) within a dorm suite and share a bath and common living room area with another attendee. The Clark Kerr sample dorm suite filmed for this video shows a quad configuration sleeping room. Please note that not all Clark Kerr dorm suites have the same size living room area or bed configuration. The majority of sleeping rooms will have two twin beds. However, the UC Housing Department has made some sleeping rooms into triples (e.g., 1 bunk bed + 1 twin) or quads (e.g., 2 bunk beds) to accommodate students during the academic year.
Single room occupancy: $89 per night
Double room occupancy: $65 per person per night
Please check back after January 1, 2019 for dorm suite reservation link.
If you’re driving to the Clark Kerr campus for a Pre-Conference class and/or the SharkFest conference, Parking Permits may be purchased for each day through the reservation site located at www.ces.ucdavis.edu/sharkfest19. The four choices in the Parking Permit section reflect Dorm Package check-in/check-out dates. If your situation does not match one of the listed choices, you can opt to pay $16 for daily parking in the Clark Kerr campus Southwest and Northwest campus parking lots by using the pay boxes in the lots.
CARS PARKED IN A CLARK KERR CAMPUS LOT MUST DISPLAY A PARKING PERMIT ON THE DASHBOARD WITH THE ACCURATE PARKING DATE TO AVOID GETTING A PARKING TICKET. NOTE, TOO, THAT NO PARKING IS ALLOWED IN THE CLARK KERR CAMPUS CIRCULAR ENTRY DRIVEWAY AT ANY TIME (WITH OR WITHOUT A PERMIT).
